US Dept of Energy's Lose your excuse!

Summary: In 2008 a US Survey found that 85% of children aged 8-12 felt confident they could help their families to use less energy. This led the US Department of Energy to create the 'Lose Your Excuse' campaign, including this website. The site has fun features to inform children about reducing energy consumption, information for parents, a simple energy saver plan and tools for teachers to get involved with the campaign. A good example of bringing together parents, children and schools for sustainability.
